Cosmosart celebrates fifth birthday. Yeah baby yeah!

Five years ago, at the end of April, I bought my first domain. At the first, cosmosart was planned like portfolio of designer's team, which I was planning to start with few friends from college. As years were passing, I started to point the work and all idea of cosmosart to something different. So, today we are here. Celebrating fifth birthday.

I made a few printscreens of previous designs, so you can see some of the parts of the designs that I used before.

May, 2003

Very 800*600px fixed, with a great, no, awesome iframe scrolling (you remember that, right), only at Croatian language. I was very proud of that site.

November, 2003

As I had little "dance group" in that time, with the setup of 2 DJ’s and one vocal signer (band was called "2Makers"), cosmosart had a choice at the first page, to enter in "Studio cosmos" or in "Cosmos Art".

June, 2005

No more audio/art switch, total makeover, better organization of data etc… Printscreen with the banner of my trip to Colombia.

And the same design for my business card, and I need to admit that was very popular in that time, because it was "different" of the usual what we could see in that area of work.

June, 2006

Someone says that if your page is copied or hacked or etc, that you mean something as writer/designer/programmer etc. Well, I don't know if I needed to be happy, but in that June it wasn't. All my data was erased by Turkish people.

Last quarter, 2007

After the attack, I decided to make something better, something new, more user friendly etc. So the new site was made with three languages (English, Croatian and Spanish). My portfolio (web, print, photos) was included in the site. Site was driven by home made CMS and with ASP/Access database.

As my photos became I can't say "very popular", but I had lot's of visits. I decided to move the photos to other domain. So, you can check it at www.davorphotos.com (in this moment is underconstruction, summer maintenance).

December, 2007

Another "big" change/switch, Cosmosart grow up to something more interesting, at least for me. I started using new CMS, it's called ExpressionEngine, I had better organization of my portfolio, more news etc…
